Spring: Advanced Beginner
❖ Thursdays 4:30-5:30 p.m. at First Congressional Church (Tucker room) Winchester
Grades 1-5. Kids should know the rules, but they may still be new or relatively new to chess. The class covers checkmates, tactics, and basic strategy.
Eight-week session: March 27 - May 29, 2025 $225
Class dates: Thursdays: Mar 27, Apr 3, 10, 17, May 1, 8, 15, 29 (no classes Apr 24 or May 22)
Spring: Intermediate
❖ Thursdays 5:30-6:30 p.m. at First Congressional Church (Tucker room) Winchester
Grades 1-8. Kids should have some experienced and know some basic checkmates and tactics. The class goes covers more tactical ideas, chess openings, and endgames.
Eight-week session: March 27 - May 29, 2025 $225
