ONLINE CLASSES ● WINTER SESSION
Classes January 3 - March 13, 2024
I love teaching kids in person, but I have learned that remote classes have definite advantages as well:

different levels of instruction
-
sometimes possible to make up a missed class
-
students can switch to a different level if appropriate
-
fewer distractions
Classes are about 40-45 minutes, plus 15-20 minutes playing time.
All students receive full privileges of a chesskid.com Gold membership – play games with other kids (and with Mr. V!) and access instructional videos & puzzles.
Intermediate❖ Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
Kids should have some experienced and know some basic checkmates and tactics. The class covers more tactical ideas, chess openings, and endgames.
Eight week session April 3 - May 29, 2024
Class dates: Wednesdays: April 3, 10, 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 (no classes April 17)

Intermediate Plus❖ Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
For more experienced players looking to expand their skills. Covers more complex strategic and tactical ideas.
